The Municipality of Nynäshamn is situated at the farthest point of Södertörn. To the south is a beautiful part of the Stockholm archipelago, to the north a varied cultural countryside.

The total population amounts to 25,353 (Sweden Statistics 31/12/07), of whom 13,000 live in the urban area of Nynäshamn. A little more than 5,400 live in the parishes of Sorunda and Ösmo, respectively, and the parish of Torö accommodates slightly more than 600 inhabitants.
Stockholm is around 50 kilometres away, Arlanda Airport 100 and Södertälje around 45.
By car it will take around 35-50 minutes to Stockholm/The Globe Arena, depending on traffic.
The commuter train will take you to Stockholm in an hour.
